According to Corcoran's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, if Corcoran begins to offer an in-person Orientation, it will be held at or near their corporate office in Madison, New Jersey, or in one of the Corcoran offices located in New York City. However, Corcoran may offer a virtual option.
Corcoran requires the franchisee or their Responsible Broker (or designee) to attend Orientation within 12 months after the Main Office opening date. The Orientation is part of a multi-week transition into the brand and includes a customized learning plan, which may include mandatory attendance in virtual Leadership Courses offered by Agent Studio.
The Orientation (excluding travel, lodging and other incidental expenses) will be provided free of charge to one attendee. If the franchisee attends any in-person portion of Orientation, they must pay a registration fee, presently $1,200 for each attendee. Corcoran has the right to determine how often they offer Orientation, but in no event will they offer it less than once per year.
