What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Corcoran Franchise Disclosure Document, a franchisee must notify Corcoran in writing if they change their Responsible Broker. The notification must be in writing and can be delivered in several ways.
The FDD specifies that notices can be personally delivered, sent via certified U.S. mail, delivered by courier or express delivery service, or sent electronically to the authorized email address. If sent by mail, notice is deemed given three business days after sending. If sent by courier, notice is deemed given two days after sending. Electronic notices are considered given on the date of delivery to the authorized email address.
Notices to Corcoran should be sent to the Vice President of Franchise Operations at 175 Park Avenue, Madison, New Jersey 07940, or via email to corcoranlegalnotice@corcoran.com, unless the P&P Manual provides otherwise. Franchisees should ensure that any change of Responsible Broker is communicated through one of these approved methods to comply with the franchise agreement.
