What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Corcoran Franchise Disclosure Document, the operation of a Corcoran franchise is governed by several key documents. These include the Real Estate Franchise Agreement, which outlines the core terms and conditions of the franchise relationship. Additionally, franchisees must adhere to the mandatory provisions detailed in Corcoran's Policies and Procedures Manual and the Brand Standards, collectively referred to as the "P&P Manual".

These documents collectively dictate how a franchisee can operate their real estate sales office, use the Corcoran service marks, and implement the Corcoran system. The system includes access to brand-specific resources, business development support, education, and marketing services. The P&P Manual further specifies the requirements for conducting new development services, including obtaining prior written approval for Development Offices.

Prospective franchisees should carefully review all these documents to fully understand their rights and obligations. Understanding these documents is crucial for ensuring compliance and maximizing the benefits of the Corcoran franchise system. The interplay between the Franchise Agreement and the P&P Manual ensures a standardized yet adaptable operational framework for all Corcoran franchisees.
