What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Corcoran's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Corcoran retains the right to modify or end any education program offered within the Corcoran System. The learning materials provided during orientation, such as presentations, videos, recordings, and recruiting information, remain Corcoran's property.

This flexibility allows Corcoran to adapt its training programs to reflect changes in the real estate market, technology, or best practices. While this ensures the training remains current, it also means that franchisees must be prepared for potential changes in the educational resources and programs offered.

Corcoran also conducts ongoing education courses, seminars, or conferences, either online, in local areas, or at events like brand conferences. Corcoran determines when these courses are offered, their fees, duration, and content. Attendance at these courses is voluntary, but franchisees are responsible for covering their own transportation, lodging, meals, and other expenses if they choose to attend in-person sessions.

This policy gives Corcoran the ability to evolve its training and support offerings, but it also places the onus on franchisees to stay informed about program changes and to budget for any associated costs if they wish to participate in optional training events.
