to attend at a later time. Business Manager and Technical Operations Training sessions are typically offered each month.

We may waive your attendance at the Business Manager and Technical Operations Training, in our discretion, if you already operate a COOL BINZ Business and you purchase an additional franchise from us.

Before you begin operating the COOL BINZ Business, we will furnish business manager and technical operations training (the "Business Manager and Technical Operations Training") to the Managing Owner or, if applicable, the Designated General Manager, at no additional fee. The Managing Owner or, if applicable, the Designated General Manager must complete the Business Manager and Technical Operations Training to our satisfaction and failure to do so will result in the termination of this Agreement. The Business Manager and Technical Operations Training may not commence until you have paid all fees due to us and must be completed within six (6) months of the effective date of this agreement.

The Business Manager and Technical Operations Training will last up to four (4) days in duration at Naples, FL or another location designated by us. You will be responsible for all travel and living expenses that you and your employees/owners incur for this Business Manager and Technical Operations Training.

What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Cool Binz's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, attendance at the Business Manager and Technical Operations Training may be waived under specific conditions. Cool Binz may waive the attendance requirement if the franchisee already operates a Cool Binz business and is purchasing an additional franchise. This suggests that Cool Binz recognizes the experience gained from operating an existing franchise and may not require the franchisee to undergo the full initial training again. However, even with a waiver of the full training, the Managing Owner is still required to successfully complete the most recent online training modules essential to the role of ownership.

Additionally, if a franchisee is awarded a Renewal Term or an additional Cool Binz Business, and their Managing Owner or Designated General Manager has already attended the Business Manager and Technical Operations Training, the requirement to attend the training is waived. However, the Managing Owner or Designated General Manager must still complete the most recent online training modules and meet continuing training obligations. If the Managing Owner or Designated General Manager attends the Business Manager and Technical Operations Training in these cases, the franchisee will be assessed the then-current training fee and will be responsible for all travel and living expenses incurred during the training.

It is important to note that even if the initial Business Manager and Technical Operations Training is waived, Cool Binz requires ongoing training and adherence to the Operations Manual. The Operations Manual contains essential information, advice, standards, requirements, operating procedures, instructions, and policies related to the operation of the Cool Binz Business. Franchisees must comply with the Operations Manual as an essential aspect of their obligations under the Franchise Agreement, and failure to do so may be considered a breach of the agreement.
