Who is responsible for securing and maintaining all required licenses, permits, and certificates relating to the operation of the Cool Binz Business?

You will, at your expense, secure and maintain in force all required licenses, permits, and certificates relating to the operation of the COOL BINZ Business and shall operate the COOL BINZ Business in full compliance with all applicable local, state and federal laws, rules and regulations. You must, at your expense, comply with all federal, state, and local laws and
regulations that apply to businesses in general. It is your responsibility to investigate the federal, state and local laws and regulations that pertain to your business. You must maintain your license(s) in good standing with the licensing authority for the entire term of this Agreement and all renewals.
You will notify us in writing within five (5) days of the commencement of any action, suit, or proceeding for the issuance of any order, writ, injunction, award or decree or any court, agency or other governmental instrumentality which may adversely affect the operation or financial condition of the COOL BINZ Business.

According to Cool Binz's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the franchisee is responsible for securing and maintaining all required licenses, permits, and certificates relating to the operation of their Cool Binz Business. The franchisee must operate the Cool Binz Business in full compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal laws, rules, and regulations.
This means that a prospective Cool Binz franchisee will bear the responsibility and cost of obtaining and keeping current all necessary licenses, permits, and certificates to legally operate their Cool Binz franchise. This includes investigating and understanding all relevant federal, state, and local laws and regulations pertaining to the business.
Furthermore, the franchisee is obligated to notify Cool Binz in writing within five days of any legal action that could adversely affect the operation or financial condition of the Cool Binz Business. Failure to procure or maintain necessary licenses, certifications, or permits can result in the termination of the Franchise Agreement.
