Notwithstanding any provision to the contrary, at our request, you will must upgrade and remodel the COOL BINZ Business at your sole expense to conform to the then-current Operations Manual (the completion of such upgrades shall be a condition of you receiving such Renewal Term). Further, you must submit proof to us that you have the right to operate the COOL BINZ Business at the Office Site for the Renewal Term.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Cool Binz's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, as a condition of receiving a renewal term, the franchisee is responsible for the costs of upgrading and remodeling the Cool Binz Business.
The FDD states that Cool Binz may request that the franchisee upgrade and remodel the Cool Binz Business at the franchisee's sole expense. These upgrades and remodels must conform to the then-current Operations Manual. Completing these upgrades is a condition of receiving the Renewal Term.
In addition to upgrades and remodels, the franchisee must also provide proof to Cool Binz that they have the right to operate the Cool Binz Business at the Office Site for the Renewal Term. This means franchisees need to budget for potential renovation costs when considering a renewal.
