What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Cool Binz's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the Managing Owner or the Designated General Manager, if applicable, must complete the Business Manager and Technical Operations Training. This training is mandatory and must be completed to Cool Binz's satisfaction; failure to do so can result in the termination of the franchise agreement. The training must be completed within six months of the agreement's effective date.
Cool Binz may waive the attendance requirement if the franchisee already operates a Cool Binz business and is purchasing an additional franchise. However, even in such cases, the Managing Owner may still be required to complete the most recent online training modules. If a Designated General Manager leaves their position, a successor must be appointed and attend the next available Business Manager and Technical Operations Training.
If the successor does not successfully complete the training, Cool Binz allows for one additional successor to be appointed, who must then complete the training. Failure of this second successor to complete the training will result in a default of the agreement and potential termination. Cool Binz requires that at all times during the franchise term, there must be a person employed at the Cool Binz Business who has completed the Business Manager and Technical Operations Training program.
