What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Cool Binz's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Cool Binz does provide support for the required franchise software management system, as defined in the Licensing Agreement.
Cool Binz may develop "COOL BINZ Software" for franchisees to use to maintain customer records, bid on jobs, create estimates, and operate the Cool Binz business system. Until Cool Binz develops its proprietary software, franchisees are required to use Cool Binz's designated software for business management and accounting, which is currently QuickBooks Online. Franchisees are also required to follow Cool Binz's specified chart of accounts. Cool Binz has the right to change these software requirements at its discretion.
Cool Binz franchisees must also participate in any System-wide computer network, intranet system, or extranet system that Cool Binz implements. Franchisees may be required to use these systems to submit reports, view and print System Standards and Operations Manuals, download approved local advertising materials, communicate with Cool Binz and other franchisees, and complete training. Franchisees must use these systems in compliance with Cool Binz's standards, protocols, and restrictions.
