What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Cool Binz's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the decision to award an additional Cool Binz Business or territory is at the sole discretion and judgment of the franchisor. However, at a minimum, a franchisee must meet certain requirements to be considered.

Specifically, the franchisee must be in compliance with their existing Franchise Agreement. This means they must be adhering to all the terms and conditions outlined in the agreement, such as maintaining required service levels, following operational procedures, and meeting financial obligations. Non-compliance could disqualify a franchisee from expansion opportunities.

Additionally, the franchisee must demonstrate that they possess sufficient capital and equipment to effectively market and service both their current territory and the additional territory they are seeking. This ensures that the franchisee has the resources necessary to manage a larger operation and maintain the quality of service expected by Cool Binz. The minimum portable equipment requirements increase with each territory a franchisee operates. The FDD states that a franchisee with one territory must maintain a minimum of 60 bins, while a franchisee with two territories must maintain at least 75 bins, and a franchisee with three territories must maintain at least 90 bins.
