Initial Training takes place at a location in Naples, Florida, BFG headquarters in Ann Arbor, MI, or another location designated by us. It may be attended by you and the Managing Owner or, if applicable, the Designated Manager, at no additional fee. You may designate, with our approval and on a "space available basis," additional persons to attend Initial Training for our then-current fee, which is currently $250 per person, per day. The Managing Owner or, if applicable, the Designated Manager must complete the Initial Training to our satisfaction. Failure to do so will result in the termination of the Franchise Agreement. Initial Training will last up to four (4) days in duration and must be completed within six (6) months of signing the franchise agreement. Although we do not charge a fee for attending training, you will be responsible for all travel and living expenses that you and your employees/owners incur. Additional persons employed by you may attend on a space available basis, contingent upon our receipt of our training fee to offset the expenses we incur. What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Cool Binz's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the Initial Training takes place at one of three possible locations. These locations include a site in Naples, Florida, the BFG headquarters in Ann Arbor, Michigan, or at another location designated by Cool Binz.
The Cool Binz franchisee, along with the Managing Owner or Designated Manager, can attend this Initial Training at no additional fee. However, additional attendees may be designated with Cool Binz's approval, subject to space availability, for a fee of $250 per person, per day. It is mandatory for the Managing Owner or Designated Manager to complete the Initial Training to Cool Binz's satisfaction; failure to do so may result in the termination of the Franchise Agreement.
The Initial Training lasts up to four days and must be completed within six months of signing the franchise agreement. While there is no direct fee for the training itself, the franchisee is responsible for all travel and living expenses incurred by themselves and their employees/owners. All attendees who are not a party to the Franchise Agreement must also sign a confidentiality and non-disclosure agreement. After completing the Initial Training, the franchisee is expected to be ready to open their Cool Binz business.
