What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Cool Binz Franchise Disclosure Document, Cool Binz does not typically own or lease the premises from which franchisees operate their Cool Binz Business. The franchisee is responsible for selecting a business site within their designated territory that meets Cool Binz's standards and specifications.

The site must be at least 500 square feet with a lot size of 0.5 to 1.0 acre and adhere to Cool Binz's standards, including demographics, size, local traffic, and the presence of complementary businesses or competitors. Cool Binz must approve the site, and will use commercially reasonable efforts to approve a suggested site within 30 days.

A prospective Cool Binz franchisee bears the responsibility of finding a suitable location and either purchasing or leasing it. Failing to secure a site and commence operations within eight months of signing the Franchise Agreement could lead to termination of the agreement. This arrangement is common in many franchise systems, where the franchisee assumes the real estate risk and responsibility.
