What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Cool Binz's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, a franchisee is obligated to use the equipment only for conducting business as outlined in the Franchise Agreement. The equipment must be used exclusively for COOL BINZ authorized services. Any deviation from this provision is considered a breach of the Franchise Agreement, the Promissory Note, and the agreement itself.
Cool Binz emphasizes that the equipment is proprietary to its franchise system. Franchisees cannot use the equipment for any other business ventures or in any manner not aligned with the authorized services. This restriction ensures that the equipment is used solely to provide the services that Cool Binz has approved and standardized.
This requirement has significant implications for a prospective franchisee. It means they cannot diversify the use of the equipment for other business purposes, even if those purposes seem complementary. The franchisee must adhere strictly to the authorized services defined by Cool Binz, ensuring consistency and quality across the franchise network. This also protects the Cool Binz brand and system standards, as unauthorized use could potentially harm the brand's reputation or introduce inconsistencies in service delivery.
