What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Cool Binz's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are required to submit photos of all vehicles used for the business. The FDD specifies that System Standards include vehicle type, model, color, supplier, trademark representation, and appearance, with vehicles to be maintained in "good" condition as defined by KELLY BLUE BOOK. All vehicles must be decaled as required by Cool Binz, and these decals must be free of defects.

This requirement ensures that all vehicles used in the Cool Binz business meet the franchisor's standards for appearance and condition, helping to maintain a consistent brand image. The reference to KELLY BLUE BOOK provides a clear, objective standard for what constitutes "good" condition, reducing potential disputes over vehicle maintenance.

For a prospective franchisee, this means they must be prepared to purchase or lease vehicles that meet Cool Binz's specifications and keep them in good repair. They will also need to apply and maintain decals according to the franchisor's requirements. Submitting photos allows Cool Binz to verify compliance with these standards.

Non-compliance with vehicle standards could result in penalties or a breach of the franchise agreement, so franchisees must pay close attention to these requirements. Franchisees should clarify with Cool Binz the specific manner and format for submitting vehicle photos to ensure they meet all expectations.
