What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Cool Binz's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, a franchisee must coordinate with Cool Binz any solicitations they conduct that may have potential for development as a National or Regional Account (NORA). Additionally, the franchisee must provide Cool Binz with copies of all reports, forms, and notices relating to their pursuit and servicing of a NORA national contract on a timely basis, using the forms Cool Binz specifies.
This requirement ensures that Cool Binz maintains oversight and coordination of NORA programs across its franchise system. By coordinating solicitations, Cool Binz can ensure that national contracts are pursued and serviced in a consistent and effective manner. This also allows Cool Binz to track the progress of NORA programs and maintain quality control.
For a prospective Cool Binz franchisee, this means they cannot independently pursue national accounts without involving Cool Binz. They must keep Cool Binz informed and provide necessary documentation. While this may add an extra layer of administration, it also provides the benefit of Cool Binz's support and expertise in securing and managing national accounts. Franchisees should clarify with Cool Binz the specific forms and reporting requirements to ensure compliance.
