What This Means (2025 FDD)
Based on the 2025 Cool Binz Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must operate and maintain their Cool Binz business according to the System Standards. These standards are essential for preserving the goodwill associated with the Cool Binz marks and for all Cool Binz franchisees. The franchisee is required to devote their full-time best efforts to adhere to these standards, even if they believe a standard is not in their best interest. These System Standards can be modified and supplemented during the term of the agreement, and franchisees must comply with any changes immediately upon notification.
Cool Binz franchisees must ensure that their employees and representatives conduct themselves in a manner consistent with the professional and ethical image of the Cool Binz system, especially during business hours or when in a vehicle with a Cool Binz logo or wearing a company uniform with a Cool Binz patch. Franchisees are also obligated to offer and provide all services that Cool Binz periodically requires, in the manner prescribed by Cool Binz.
The System Standards, which are specified and periodically amended in the Operations Manual or in writing, may include standards and specifications regarding various aspects of the business. The FDD does not specifically list standards for the "fur...", but does state that the standards may include, without limitation, standards and specification regarding various aspects of the business.
A prospective Cool Binz franchisee should ask the franchisor for a comprehensive list of all System Standards, including those related to the appearance and maintenance of the Cool Binz facilities, equipment, and vehicles, as well as any standards related to the handling of goods stored in the containers.
