What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Cool Binz's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Exhibit A, titled "Designated Personnel," outlines the designated personnel for a Cool Binz franchise.
Beyond the existence of Exhibit A, the FDD excerpt also details the roles of the Managing Owner and Designated Manager. Cool Binz requires the franchisee to designate at least one Managing Owner, who will be the primary contact between the franchisee and Cool Binz. Cool Binz must approve this Managing Owner. A Managing Owner can oversee multiple Cool Binz businesses, but Cool Binz can also require a Designated Manager for each specific business.
The Designated Manager does not need to have an ownership stake in the Cool Binz business. Both the Managing Owner and the Designated Manager (if applicable) must complete Cool Binz's JumpStart and Initial Training Programs. These personnel are expected to dedicate their full-time efforts to managing and promoting the Cool Binz Business. They are restricted from engaging in other conflicting business activities without prior written permission from Cool Binz.
