What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Cool Binz's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the estimated pre-opening travel expense to training ranges from $1,000 to $3,000. This cost covers travel, lodging, and meals for up to two people attending the initial training program. These expenses are paid to third-party providers such as airlines, hotels, and restaurants.
The FDD notes that while Cool Binz does not charge additional fees for the initial training program for up to two people, franchisees are responsible for covering wages for their employees (if any) during training, as well as the travel, food, and lodging expenses incurred by both the franchisee and their employees. The actual cost will vary depending on the distance traveled and the type of accommodations chosen.
Prospective Cool Binz franchisees should consider these travel expenses when budgeting for their initial investment. It is important to factor in the cost of transportation, accommodation, and meals for themselves and any employees attending the training. Franchisees may want to explore options for reducing these costs, such as booking travel and accommodations in advance or choosing more budget-friendly options. It is also important to note that this estimate is based on expenses for up to two people, so franchisees with more employees attending training will need to adjust their budget accordingly.
