What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Cool Binz's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the Managing Owner or the Designated Manager are eligible to attend the Initial Training program at no additional fee. The Initial Training takes place in Naples, Florida, at BFG headquarters in Ann Arbor, MI, or another location designated by Cool Binz.
However, while there is no fee for attending the training program itself, the franchisee is responsible for covering all travel and living expenses incurred by themselves and their employees or owners during the training. If the franchisee wishes to designate additional persons to attend the Initial Training, they may do so with Cool Binz's approval and on a space-available basis, but they will have to pay a fee of $250 per person, per day.
It is important to note that the Managing Owner or Designated Manager must complete the Initial Training to Cool Binz's satisfaction. Failure to do so may result in the termination of the Franchise Agreement. This highlights the importance of ensuring that the individual attending the training is fully committed and capable of meeting Cool Binz's standards. The Initial Training lasts up to four days and must be completed within six months of signing the franchise agreement.
