What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Cool Binz's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the franchise agreement will automatically terminate if a franchisee attempts to make an unauthorized transfer of the agreement or the Cool Binz business. This is specifically related to violating any of the transfer provisions outlined in Section 10 of the agreement.

This provision is fairly standard in franchising. Franchisors want to control who becomes a franchisee to protect their brand and ensure consistent operations. Unauthorized transfers can introduce individuals who have not been vetted or trained, potentially harming the Cool Binz brand.

Prospective Cool Binz franchisees should carefully review Section 10 of the franchise agreement to fully understand the conditions under which a transfer is permitted and the process for obtaining approval. Failure to comply with these provisions could result in the immediate termination of the franchise agreement, resulting in a loss of the business.
