What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Cool Binz's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, all trucks used in the business must be maintained in good operating condition, regardless of their age. Additionally, the trucks must be free of rust and dents. Cool Binz reserves the right to inspect and approve all trucks used in the business and can require franchisees to upgrade, refurbish, or remodel their trucks to comply with the System Standards at any time. Furthermore, all truck wraps must be performed by Cool Binz's authorized vendors.

This requirement ensures that all Cool Binz trucks present a consistent and professional image to the public. The franchisee is responsible for the ongoing maintenance and appearance of their trucks, which can impact their operating costs. The franchisor's right to inspect and demand upgrades means franchisees must budget for potential refurbishment expenses to meet Cool Binz's standards.

For a prospective Cool Binz franchisee, this means allocating funds for regular truck maintenance and being prepared for potential upgrade or remodeling costs mandated by Cool Binz. Using only authorized vendors for truck wraps ensures brand consistency but limits the franchisee's choice of suppliers. The franchisee should clarify the frequency and criteria for truck inspections and the potential costs associated with required upgrades to better understand the financial implications.
