Initial Training takes place at a location in Naples, Florida, BFG headquarters in Ann Arbor, MI, or another location designated by us. It may be attended by you and the Managing Owner or, if applicable, the Designated Manager, at no additional fee. You may designate, with our approval and on a "space available basis," additional persons to attend Initial Training for our then-current fee, which is currently $250 per person, per day. The Managing Owner or, if applicable, the Designated Manager must complete the Initial Training to our satisfaction. Failure to do so will result in the termination of the Franchise Agreement. Initial Training will last up to four (4) days in duration and must be completed within six (6) months of signing the franchise agreement. Although we do not charge a fee for attending training, you will be responsible for all travel and living expenses that you and your employees/owners incur. Additional persons employed by you may attend on a space available basis, contingent upon our receipt of our training fee to offset the expenses we incur. All attendees who are not a party to the Franchise Agreement
must sign our prescribed form of confidentiality and non-disclosure agreement (Exhibit A-2 of the Franchise Disclosure Document). After you return from Initial Training, you are ready to open for business.
Our Operations Manuals, videos, and other handouts comprise the instructional materials for our Initial Training. Initial Training will be led by Ernie Paladino with the assistance of various Cool Binz and BFG staff. Each training instructor will have a minimum of one month experience with us or BFG. Mr.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Cool Binz's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, while there is no fee charged for the initial training itself for the Managing Owner or Designated Manager, franchisees are responsible for covering all travel and living expenses incurred by themselves and their employees or owners during the training period. If this is a renewal term or an additional Cool Binz business and the Managing Owner or Designated Manager attends initial training, the franchisee will be assessed a training fee, which is currently $250 per person, per event, in addition to covering travel and living expenses.
This means that a prospective Cool Binz franchisee needs to budget not only for the potential training fee for additional attendees, but also for transportation, accommodation, meals, and other incidental costs associated with attending the training program in Naples, Florida, Ann Arbor, MI, or another designated location. These costs can vary significantly depending on the distance traveled, the duration of the stay, and the number of people attending the training.
It is important for potential franchisees to factor in these expenses when evaluating the overall cost of investing in a Cool Binz franchise. They should also inquire about the typical range of these expenses from existing franchisees to get a more accurate estimate of the potential financial burden. Understanding and planning for these costs upfront can help ensure a smoother transition into operating a Cool Binz franchise.
