What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Cool Binz's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the franchisee is responsible for covering the costs associated with implementing any additions, modifications, or changes to the Cool Binz System Standards. This includes adopting and using new or modified trademarks, uniforms, signs, vehicle types, telephone numbers and technologies, products, equipment, services, techniques, proprietary software, non-proprietary software, methodologies and sales strategies.
This means that as the Cool Binz system evolves to meet changing market conditions or consumer demands, franchisees will be required to update their businesses accordingly, and they will have to pay for these updates themselves. These changes are intended to preserve and enhance the public image of the Cool Binz system and improve operational efficiency across all franchise locations.
For a prospective franchisee, this signifies an ongoing investment beyond the initial franchise fee and startup costs. Franchisees need to be prepared to allocate funds for these periodic updates and changes to remain compliant with Cool Binz's System Standards. Failure to implement these changes could potentially lead to a breach of the franchise agreement.
