What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Cool Binz's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, all training attendees who are not a party to the Franchise Agreement must sign Cool Binz's prescribed form of confidentiality and non-disclosure agreement. This agreement is included as Exhibit A-2 of the Franchise Disclosure Document.
This requirement ensures that confidential business information disclosed during the training program remains protected. It prevents unauthorized individuals from sharing sensitive details about Cool Binz's operations, marketing strategies, or other proprietary knowledge with competitors or the public.
For a prospective Cool Binz franchisee, this means that if they send employees or other representatives to the initial training, those individuals will be legally bound to maintain the confidentiality of the information they receive. The franchisee should ensure that all attendees understand the terms of the agreement before signing. This is a fairly standard practice in franchising, as franchisors need to protect their intellectual property and trade secrets.
