Cool_Binz Franchise · 2025 FDDAnswer from 2025 FDD Document
We and our affiliate-owned outlets are not required to contribute to the Brand Marketing Fund. We may, but are not obligated to, advance money to the Brand Marketing Fund to fund Brand Marketing Fund programs. In the event that we advance monies to the Brand Marketing Fund, we will determine, in our sole discretion, the manner and timing for the repayment, to us, of some, or all, of the funds we advance. All franchisees will contribute to the Brand Marketing Fund at the same rate.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Cool Binz's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Cool Binz may, but is not obligated to, advance money to the Brand Marketing Fund to fund Brand Marketing Fund programs. If Cool Binz advances monies to the Brand Marketing Fund, they will determine the manner and timing for the repayment of some or all of the funds they advance, in their sole discretion.
This means that Cool Binz has the option to provide financial support to the Brand Marketing Fund, which is used for the common benefit of System franchisees. However, franchisees should note that Cool Binz is not required to do so. If Cool Binz does provide funds, they have complete control over how and when those funds will be repaid.
For a prospective franchisee, this indicates that while there is a possibility of Cool Binz contributing to the marketing efforts through the Brand Marketing Fund, it is not guaranteed. Franchisees should be aware that Cool Binz's decisions regarding advancing and repaying funds are at their sole discretion, which could impact the availability of funds for marketing initiatives. All franchisees contribute to the Brand Marketing Fund at the same rate.
