Are the additional requirements for a NORA project provided to the Cool Binz franchisee in writing?

Cool_Binz Franchise · 2025 FDD

Answer from 2025 FDD Document

If you are conducting a NORA project, and the Customer has additional requirements, you agree to follow those requirements, which will be provided to you in writing. You may be required to sign a contract with the Customer amending the base NORA national contract for that service location. All work is subject to the terms, conditions and pricing established by us for that national contract or the National Strategic Partner as a prerequisite for participation in these programs. These terms may vary depending on the situations and circumstances.

What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Cool Binz's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, if a Cool Binz franchisee is conducting a NORA (National or Regional Account) project and the customer has additional requirements, those requirements will be provided to the franchisee in writing. The franchisee may also be required to sign a contract with the customer, which would amend the base NORA national contract for that specific service location.

This means that Cool Binz franchisees will receive written instructions outlining any specific or extra tasks required by the NORA customer beyond the standard NORA agreement. This helps ensure clarity and avoids misunderstandings about the scope of work. The written requirements could cover specific procedures, reporting formats, or any other unique demands of the customer.

The FDD states that all work performed under a NORA project is subject to the terms, conditions, and pricing established by Cool Binz for that national contract or the National Strategic Partner. These terms may vary depending on the specific situations and circumstances of the project. This implies that franchisees must adhere to Cool Binz's guidelines and pricing structures when dealing with NORA clients, and these may not always be uniform across all projects.
