What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Clear Pest Pros' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the veteran and first responder discounts cannot be combined. Clear Pest Pros offers a 20% discount on the Initial Franchise Fee for the first territory to veterans of the U.S. Armed Forces who have been honorably discharged or meet the requirements of the IFA's VetFran program. Additionally, Clear Pest Pros provides a $2,500 discount on the Initial Franchise Fee for the first territory to first responders, including sworn police officers, paid firefighters, and paid emergency medical technicians and paramedics.

Clear Pest Pros explicitly states that these discounts cannot be used in conjunction with each other. This means a prospective franchisee who qualifies for both the veteran discount and the first responder discount must choose one or the other, as they cannot combine the savings. Clear Pest Pros retains the right to request proof that an applicant meets the criteria for either of these discounts.

This policy of not combining discounts is fairly common in the franchise industry. Franchisors often offer various incentives to attract different types of franchisees, but they typically restrict the stacking of these discounts to maintain financial viability and prevent franchisees from excessively reducing their initial investment. Prospective Clear Pest Pros franchisees should carefully consider which discount provides the most significant benefit to them when making their franchise purchase decision.
