What are the vehicle condition requirements for a Clear Pest Pros franchise?

You must purchase or lease at least one van or truck for use in connection with your Clear Pest Pros Business that complies with our standards and specifications.
You will purchase the vehicle from us that will come upfitted with branded graphics, and modeled to hold all fixed equipment.
We currently permit two different service vehicle types.
You will begin with a Ford Transit Low Roof 130.
As the franchised business grows or if the franchised business uses an enclosed trailer for specific services that needs to be towed, then we recommend adding one or more Type 2 service vehicles: Ford Transit 150 LR Van with optional back-up camera.
The vehicle must be in good operating condition regardless of age of vehicle.
All vehicles must be rust and dent free.
We reserve the right to inspect and approve all vehicles used in your Clear Pest Pros Business, and we may require you to upgrade, refurbish or remodel your vehicles such that they comply with our System Standards at any time.
The low range in the above chart assumes that you have an existing white vehicle that complies with our standards and specifications that does not have wrapping that needs to be removed.
The high range in the above chart assumes that you are purchasing a brand new vehicle with decals and includes a down payment, administrative fee, and three (3) months' lease payments, but does not include sales tax.
You are required to have at least one fully wrapped service vehicle at all times, and you may only use vehicle graphics and wraps we permit.
All vehicle wraps must be ordered from us or one of our authorized vendors.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Clear Pest Pros's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must either purchase or lease at least one van or truck that meets the franchisor's standards. Clear Pest Pros currently permits two different service vehicle types: a Ford Transit Low Roof 130 to start, and potentially adding a Ford Transit 150 LR Van with an optional back-up camera as the business grows or requires towing an enclosed trailer. The vehicle must be in good operating condition, regardless of its age, and must be free of rust and dents.
Clear Pest Pros retains the right to inspect and approve all vehicles used in the business and can require franchisees to upgrade, refurbish, or remodel vehicles to comply with system standards at any time. Franchisees are required to have at least one fully wrapped service vehicle at all times, using only vehicle graphics and wraps that Clear Pest Pros permits, ordered from the franchisor or its authorized vendors.
The initial investment table includes a line item for "Vehicles with Upfitting," with an estimated cost ranging from $4,728 to $71,000. The lower end of this range assumes the franchisee already owns a white vehicle that meets Clear Pest Pros's standards and does not require wrap removal. The higher end assumes the purchase of a brand new vehicle with decals, including a down payment, administrative fee, and three months' lease payments, but excluding sales tax. Franchisees must also procure and maintain liability and other insurance policies for their vans and business, as specified in the Franchise Agreement, with potential adjustments to coverage limits based on vehicle lease requirements.
