What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Clear Pest Pros's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, either the franchisor or the franchisee can waive or reduce any obligation or restriction of the other party under the Franchise Agreement. This waiver or reduction must be communicated through written notice.
The waiver or reduction is not permanent, as it can be revoked at any time. To revoke the waiver or reduction, the party must provide a ten (10) days' written notice to the other party.
This clause provides flexibility in the franchise relationship, allowing either party to temporarily ease certain requirements. However, the ability to revoke the waiver with just ten days' notice means that franchisees should not rely on such waivers as permanent changes to their obligations.
