- pay the then-current monthly software fee and, if required, set up fee, for the Clear Pest Pros Software (the "Software Fee") in the same manner and at the same time as you pay the monthly Royalty;

- pay the then-current monthly technology fee for website hosting, email hosting, business phone, and other required technology or marketing related expenses (the "Technology Fee") in the same manner and at the same time as you pay the monthly Royalty; and

- utilize, sign a license agreement for, and pay for, any future proprietary software program we may designate for use with the System.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Clear Pest Pros' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must pay a monthly technology fee. This Technology Fee covers website hosting, email hosting, a business phone, and other required technology or marketing-related expenses. The fee is paid in the same manner and at the same time as the monthly Royalty fee.
Clear Pest Pros also specifies that they will provide the business phone number to be used by the Business. This number will be forwarded to any device that the franchisee chooses. As part of local marketing efforts, this number must be dedicated to the Clear Pest Pros Business.
Clear Pest Pros retains the right to modify the provisions regarding the Technology Fee. They may also use a portion of the Brand Marketing Fund or the monthly Technology Fee or Software Fee to pay or reimburse themselves for the costs incurred in connection with the development, maintenance, and update of their website.
