What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Clear Pest Pros' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the $2,000 Additional Training at your Location fee becomes payable when Clear Pest Pros sends an employee to a franchisee's location for additional training. This fee is charged per person and is due prior to scheduling the staff visit.
Importantly, the fee is due regardless of whether the franchisee requests the additional training or if Clear Pest Pros determines, in its sole discretion, that the franchisee's work performance necessitates it. This means a franchisee could be required to pay for additional training even if they did not ask for it, if Clear Pest Pros deems it necessary.
Clear Pest Pros also retains the right to increase this fee in accordance with the Consumer Price Index (CPI). This means the cost of additional training could rise over time, potentially impacting a franchisee's expenses.
