Clear_Pest_Pros Franchise · 2025 FDDAnswer from 2025 FDD Document
You will operate the Clear Pest Pros Business from a location within the Territory that we approve and that will be identified in the Summary Page to the Franchise Agreement. Your protected "Territory" will consist of specific zip-code(s) that have been awarded to you. We identify your Territory by zip codes as determined by Census Bureau statistics.
A Territory will typically include between 350,000 to 450,000 people with a maximum of 500,000 people. You will sign a franchise agreement for each Territory purchased. As of the date of this Disclosure Document, we are utilizing data that has been collected by a national demographics company to determine the number of people in each Territory. The national demographics company is GbBIS (https://www.gbbis.com/). We have the right to restrict the number of Territories in any given geographic area.
You will not receive an exclusive territory. You may face competition from other franchisees, from outlets that we own, or from other channels of distribution or competitive brands that we control.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Clear Pest Pros's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Clear Pest Pros retains the right to limit the number of territories within a particular geographic region. A Clear Pest Pros territory typically encompasses a population range of 350,000 to 450,000 people, with a maximum of 500,000. The territory is defined by specific zip codes, based on Census Bureau statistics. Clear Pest Pros uses data collected by a national demographics company, GbBIS, to determine the population within each territory.
While franchisees are granted the right to advertise and service customers within their designated territory, this right is not exclusive. Franchisees may encounter competition from other franchisees, company-owned outlets, alternative distribution channels, or competing brands controlled by Clear Pest Pros. Franchisees are restricted from advertising outside their territory without prior approval from Clear Pest Pros, with violations potentially leading to fines or termination of the franchise agreement.
Clear Pest Pros also retains specific rights within the territory, including the right to establish Clear Pest Pros businesses at any location outside the territory, and in certain instances, inside the territory. Clear Pest Pros also reserves the right to manage projects undertaken jointly by multiple Clear Pest Pros businesses and to limit or prohibit franchisees from directly negotiating with other Clear Pest Pros businesses on these jobs. These stipulations highlight the importance of understanding the competitive landscape and the franchisor's rights when considering a Clear Pest Pros franchise.
