What is the Required Software for Clear Pest Pros?

SL or cable modem high-speed Internet connection located at your Office Site that meets the requirements of the System Standards and for handling of our then-current Clear Pest Pros Software or other Required Software.
We shall have the right, but not the obligation, to develop or designate: (i) computer software programs and web-based applications you must use in connection with any component of the Computer System, including the Clear Pest Pros Software, designated business management software and designated accounting software (the "Required Software"), which you shall install at your own expense; (ii) updates, supplements, modifications, or enhancements to the Required Software, which you shall install at your own expense; (iii) the tangible media upon which you record data; and (iv) the database file structure of the Computer System. You will be
responsible for the payment of all fees associated with the Required Software, Computer System, Clear Pest Pros Software and POS System.
At our request, you shall purchase or lease, and thereafter maintain, the Computer System, Clear Pest Pros Software, and the Required Software. You agree to pay all fees associated with the use of Clear Pest Pros Software and any other Required Software, which may be payable to us or our approved or designated suppliers. You expressly agree to strictly comply with our thencurrent standards and specifications for all items associated with your Computer System, Clear Pest Pros Software and any Required Software, including any security software. You agree, at your own expense, to keep your Computer System in good maintenance and repair and install such upgrades, additions, changes, modifications, substitutions, and/or replacements to your Computer System or Required Software as we direct from time to time in writing. You agree that your compliance with this Section shall be at your sole cost and expense.
We may require that your Computer System be programmed to automatically transmit data and reports about the operation of the Clear Pest Pros Business to us.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Clear Pest Pros's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are required to use specific software programs and web-based applications as part of their Computer System. This includes Clear Pest Pros Software, designated business management software, and designated accounting software, collectively referred to as the "Required Software." The franchisor has the right to develop or designate these software programs and applications, as well as any updates, supplements, modifications, or enhancements, which the franchisee must install at their own expense.
Clear Pest Pros also specifies that franchisees must use the Clear Pest Pros Software, or other Required Software, for maintaining customer records. The franchisor has confidential access to the franchisee's databases and related information from this software, which is used to compute royalties and make other evaluations and verifications. Additionally, franchisees are required to use designated accounting software, which is currently QuickBooks Online but is subject to change, and follow a specified Chart of Accounts. Clear Pest Pros retains the right to change these requirements at its discretion and will have automatic password access to the franchisee's financial reports on this system.
Prospective Clear Pest Pros franchisees should note that they are responsible for all fees associated with the Required Software, Computer System, Clear Pest Pros Software, and POS System. They must also obtain the necessary computer hardware to implement these software programs and comply with all specifications and standards prescribed by the franchisor. Furthermore, franchisees are obligated to report Gross Sales in the Clear Pest Pros Software or another software program within the Required Software that Clear Pest Pros designates.
