What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Clear Pest Pros's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, while establishing and maintaining a social media presence is required, updating it monthly is not mandatory. Clear Pest Pros recommends, but does not require, that franchisees update their social media pages at least monthly.
Before establishing any social media pages for the business, franchisees must obtain prior written approval from Clear Pest Pros for the content to be posted. Once approval is granted, the franchisee must operate the social media pages in accordance with Clear Pest Pros's System Standards and any other policies designated in the Operations Manual or in writing. Franchisees are also required to use any templates provided by Clear Pest Pros to create or modify their social media sites.
Upon termination or expiration of the Franchise Agreement, all social media pages and associated passwords must be transferred to Clear Pest Pros. This ensures that Clear Pest Pros maintains control over the brand's online presence and reputation, even after a franchise relationship ends. This is a fairly standard practice in franchising, as franchisors typically want to maintain consistent branding and messaging across all franchise locations.
