How often does a Clear Pest Pros franchisee renew the Clear Pest Pros Software licensing agreement?

According to Clear Pest Pros's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the license to use the Clear Pest Pros Franchise Management Software System is a quarterly license. The license automatically renews each quarter and remains in effect throughout the term of the Franchise Agreement between Clear Pest Pros and the franchisee.

This means that as a Clear Pest Pros franchisee, you are required to renew the software license every three months. This ongoing license ensures that you have the right to use the Clear Pest Pros Software, including any upgrades, for managing your franchise. The franchisee must utilize the Clear Pest Pros Software unless Clear Pest Pros approves an alternate software supplier.

It is important to note that Clear Pest Pros retains the title to the software, and franchisees are prohibited from copying, reverse-engineering, or disclosing the software to third parties. Additionally, Clear Pest Pros may introduce new software modules that could be separately licensed, potentially adding to the franchisee's costs. Franchisees must also pay a monthly software fee and a technology fee, in the same manner and at the same time as the monthly Royalty payments.
