What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Clear Pest Pros's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are encouraged to operate their Clear Pest Pros business from home for the first 12 to 18 months. This is contingent on the franchisee's home being located within their designated territory.

Operating from a home office can significantly reduce initial investment costs, as it eliminates the need for expenses such as rent, lease deposits, and leasehold improvements. The FDD estimates that monthly rent for an industrial park or commercial space can range from $1,000 to $2,000, with landlords typically requiring a lease deposit of one or two months' rent. By operating from home, a Clear Pest Pros franchisee can avoid these costs during the critical early stages of the business.

However, franchisees also have the option to operate from an industrial park or commercial space with a minimum of 1,500 square feet. The decision to operate from home versus a commercial space will depend on the franchisee's individual circumstances, including their financial situation, the size of their territory, and their personal preferences. Clear Pest Pros does not evaluate the location of a franchisee's commercial space, so the franchisee bears the responsibility of selecting a suitable location. Franchisees should carefully consider the pros and cons of each option before making a decision.
