What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Clear Pest Pros' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Minnesota law requires Clear Pest Pros to provide a franchisee with 180 days' notice of non-renewal of the franchise agreement. This requirement is included to protect franchisees operating in Minnesota.

This means that if Clear Pest Pros decides not to renew a franchise agreement in Minnesota, they must inform the franchisee at least 180 days before the current agreement expires. This gives the franchisee time to prepare for the end of the franchise, potentially seek another business opportunity, or negotiate with Clear Pest Pros.

This notice period is designed to give franchisees adequate time to make arrangements and avoid abrupt business closure. It also ensures that Clear Pest Pros complies with Minnesota state law regarding franchise agreements.
