What laws and regulations must a Clear Pest Pros franchisee comply with at their own expense?

You will, at your expense, secure and maintain in force all required licenses, permits, and certificates relating to the operation of the Clear Pest Pros Business and shall operate the Clear Pest Pros Business in full compliance with all applicable local, state and federal laws, rules and regulations. You must, at your expense, comply with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations that apply to businesses in general. It is your responsibility to investigate the federal, state and local laws and regulations that pertain to your business. You must maintain your license(s) in good standing with the licensing authority for the entire term of this Agreement and all renewals.
You will notify us in writing within five (5) days of the commencement of any action, suit, or proceeding for the issuance of any order, writ, injunction, award or decree or any court, agency or other governmental instrumentality which may adversely affect the operation or financial condition of the Clear Pest Pros Business.

According to Clear Pest Pros's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are responsible for complying with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations at their own expense. This includes securing and maintaining all required licenses, permits, and certificates necessary for operating the Clear Pest Pros Business. Franchisees must operate their business in full compliance with all local, state, and federal laws.
It is the franchisee's responsibility to investigate and understand the federal, state, and local laws and regulations that pertain to their specific business operations. Furthermore, franchisees must maintain their licenses in good standing with the relevant licensing authority throughout the entire term of the Franchise Agreement and any renewals.
Additionally, the franchisee is obligated to notify Clear Pest Pros in writing within five days of any action, suit, or proceeding that could adversely affect the operation or financial condition of the Clear Pest Pros Business. This includes the issuance of any order, writ, injunction, award, or decree from any court, agency, or other governmental body.
