Is a Clear Pest Pros franchisee required to use approved suppliers?

You are required to use our approved suppliers for uniforms and branded materials, vehicle wraps, certain supplies and equipment, and other inventory and materials that you may be required to use in operation of the Franchises Business.
While most franchisees choose to order items using our Marks from our approved suppliers, you are only required to do so when you order your Initial Package and vehicle decals. The remaining items using our Marks for the operation of your Clear Pest Pros Business may be ordered from third party suppliers provided that they meet our standards and specifications for representation of the Marks, and are pre-approved by us. We do not provide material benefits to you based on your purchase of particular products or services or use of designated or approved suppliers.
Currently, you are required to purchase or lease the initial vehicle from us or our then-current approved supplier(s). We also reserve the right to require that you purchase all additional vehicles that
you may purchase during the term of your franchise agreement through our approved supplier(s). Clear Pest Pros Businesses will use vehicles that meet our design and operating specifications for model type, color, upfitting, trademark representation, and appearance. These specifications are included in our Manuals. All vehicles purchased or leased for the Clear Pest Pros Business are to be, and maintained, in a "good" condition as defined by KELLEY BLUE BOOK ("good" condition means that the vehicle is free of any major defects). The paint, body and interior must have only minor (if any) blemishes, and there may not be any major mechanical problems. All vehicles used in connection with the Clear Pest Pros Business should be rust free and decaled or wrapped as required by Clear Pest Pros and the decals are to be free of defects. We may require that you purchase/lease a new vehicle or remodel/refurbish your existing vehicles to meet our then-current System Standards at any time during the Term, at your expense. You are required to purchase the vehicle wrapped from an approved supplier. We may require you to install a GPS system on your service vehicles.
Clear Pest Pros Business may be required to use the phone models and type from the supplier(s) that we designate. We will provide you, in exchange for your payment of the Technology Fee, the business phone number to be used by your Clear Pest Pros Business. This number will be forwarded to any device(s) that you choose.
You must use an email name that we have approved that will have "@clearpestpros.com" as its suffix for all business related correspondence.
You also promise to use, subscribe to, and pay for, as directed by us, a customized website connected to our website and managed by our website provider. You may not attempt to redirect any traffic on the customized website. You may not implement a website or URL for your Clear Pest Pros Business either yourself or through a third-party provider. We have sole discretion and control over the website (including timing, design, contents and continuation).
You must purchase (or lease) the point-of-sale software and hardware, and related software and hardware that we specify.

According to Clear Pest Pros's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are required to use approved suppliers for certain aspects of the business. Specifically, franchisees must purchase the initial vehicle from Clear Pest Pros or its approved suppliers. Clear Pest Pros also reserves the right to require franchisees to purchase all additional vehicles through their approved suppliers. Franchisees are also required to purchase the vehicle wrapped from an approved supplier.
In addition to vehicles, Clear Pest Pros franchisees are required to use approved suppliers for uniforms and branded materials, vehicle wraps, certain supplies and equipment, and other inventory and materials that may be required to operate the franchise business. For items using Clear Pest Pros's trademarks, franchisees are required to order their Initial Package and vehicle decals from approved suppliers. However, for the remaining trademarked items, franchisees may use third-party suppliers if they meet Clear Pest Pros's standards and specifications and receive prior approval.
Clear Pest Pros may require franchisees to use specific phone models and types from designated suppliers. Franchisees are also obligated to use a Clear Pest Pros-approved email name with the suffix "@clearpestpros.com" for all business-related correspondence. Furthermore, franchisees must use, subscribe to, and pay for a customized website connected to Clear Pest Pros's website and managed by their website provider. Franchisees must also purchase or lease the point-of-sale software and hardware specified by Clear Pest Pros.
Clear Pest Pros retains the right to modify standards and specifications, potentially requiring franchisees to remodel or refurbish their premises, vehicles, and branded items to meet current system standards. While franchisees are generally required to use approved suppliers for various items, Clear Pest Pros states that franchisees receive no material franchise benefits for using approved suppliers, aside from certain intangible benefits associated with group buying.
