What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Clear Pest Pros's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are generally prohibited from linking to or framing the Clear Pest Pros website without explicit written authorization from the franchisor. The FDD states that franchisees may access the Clear Pest Pros website, but they cannot link or frame it without advance written permission.

This restriction is in place to ensure brand consistency and control over the online representation of the Clear Pest Pros brand. Clear Pest Pros retains the sole right to advertise the System on the Internet and to create, operate, maintain, modify, or discontinue any website using the Marks. This control extends to the design, content, and overall management of the website.

Franchisees are permitted to list their Clear Pest Pros Business in online directories, providing a limited exception to the restriction on online presence. However, any other form of online advertising or business conducted on the internet requires prior written approval from Clear Pest Pros. This includes the use of Marks in advertising, identification, or DBAs, which must be submitted for review at least ten business days before the proposed first use. If Clear Pest Pros takes no action within this period, the use is deemed disapproved. Clear Pest Pros also has the right to require franchisees to immediately discontinue the use of any Mark, advertising, identification, or DBA, even if previously approved.
