According to Clear Pest Pros's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, several factors influence the interpretation and execution of the franchise agreement. Clear Pest Pros emphasizes that a franchisee's abilities and efforts are vital to the success of the Clear Pest Pros Business. Franchisees must secure new customers through consistent marketing and advertising efforts. The agreement specifies that Clear Pest Pros has the right to own and operate Clear Pest Pros Businesses, to franchise or sub-franchise, and to use its system, marks, know-how, techniques, and procedures.
Clear Pest Pros provides franchisees with access to information and guidance to aid in the operation of their business. This includes new products, services, methods, and advice on purchasing supplies, uniforms, equipment, and products. Clear Pest Pros also offers guidance on advertising and promotional programs, financial and daily operations, accounting, and record-keeping functions. This guidance is furnished through the Operations Manual, bulletins, written materials, conferences, conventions, training sessions, toll-free telephone consultations, electronic communications, and consultations at Clear Pest Pros's office or the franchisee's business.
Furthermore, franchisees must complete the JumpStart initial training program within two months of signing the agreement, before attending Initial Training, and before opening their Clear Pest Pros Business. This program includes pre-opening activities and is self-guided with support from the training team and the Operations Manual. Initial Training, which lasts up to twelve days, is provided to the Managing Owner and Designated General Manager at no additional fee, though the franchisee is responsible for travel and living expenses. Clear Pest Pros may waive this training if the franchisee already operates a Clear Pest Pros Business and purchases an additional franchise.
Clear Pest Pros also emphasizes the importance of confidential information. Franchisees acknowledge that they do not acquire any interest in Clear Pest Pros's Confidential Information, other than the right to use it while operating the Clear Pest Pros Business. They agree not to use Confidential Information in any other business, maintain its confidentiality, and prevent unauthorized use or disclosure. Upon termination of the agreement, franchisees must return all Confidential Information. The franchisee is responsible for purchasing or leasing and maintaining the Computer System, Clear Pest Pros Software, and Required Software, complying with Clear Pest Pros's standards and specifications, and keeping the Computer System in good repair. Clear Pest Pros may require the Computer System to transmit data and has the right to access the system to monitor or retrieve data. All client and customer data is the property of Clear Pest Pros and must be transmitted to them upon termination of the agreement.
