Initial Training takes place at a location that we designate, which is currently Ann Arbor, Michigan and may also be conducted in your operating territory. In addition to you, it may be attended by the Managing Owner or, if applicable, the Designated Manager, at no additional fee. The Managing Owner and, if applicable, the Designated Manager must complete the Initial Training to our satisfaction. Failure to do so will result in the termination of the Franchise Agreement. Initial Training is approximately 12 days in duration and must be completed within four (4) months of signing the Franchise Agreement. You will be responsible for all travel and living expenses that you and your employees/owners incur. Additional persons employed by you may attend on a space available basis, contingent upon our receipt of our training fee to offset the expenses we incur. All attendees who are not a party to the Franchise Agreement must sign our prescribed form of confidentiality and nondisclosure agreement (Exhibit C of the Franchise Disclosure Document).

According to Clear Pest Pros's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the Initial Training program is approximately 12 days in duration. This in-person training must be completed within four months of signing the Franchise Agreement. The training takes place at a location designated by Clear Pest Pros, which is currently Ann Arbor, Michigan, but may also be conducted in the franchisee's operating territory.
Both the franchisee and, if applicable, the Designated Manager must complete the Initial Training to Clear Pest Pros's satisfaction. Failure to do so can result in the termination of the Franchise Agreement. Franchisees are responsible for all travel and living expenses incurred during the training for themselves and their employees or owners.
Clear Pest Pros also requires franchisees to complete a JumpStart Initial Training program within two months of signing the Franchise Agreement, before attending the in-person Initial Training. The JumpStart program can last approximately three to six weeks and includes pre-opening activities such as reviewing operations manuals, completing a territory review, and coordinating the initial advertising program.
