e start of training. The Initial Training fee will be due and payable before the start of the training program and you will be responsible for the payment of all travel and living expenses incurred by your designees while training.

The Managing Owner or, if applicable, the Designated General Manager, must attend the Clear Pest Pros Convention every year it is offered. If you fail to attend the Convention, without our prior written permission, you must pay the Convention Non-Attendance Fee of $1,000. The Managing Owner or, if applicable, Designated General Manager also must attend periodic refresher training courses and conferences, not to exceed one (1) convention/conference per year,

at the times and locations we determine, and for which we may charge fees. We will determine the duration, curriculum, and location of any such sessions.

What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Clear Pest Pros's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, attendance at the annual Clear Pest Pros Convention is generally required for the Managing Owner or Designated General Manager. If the Managing Owner or Designated General Manager fails to attend the convention without prior written permission from Clear Pest Pros, the franchisee must pay a Convention Non-Attendance Fee of $1,000.

In addition to the annual convention, the Managing Owner or Designated General Manager must also attend periodic refresher training courses and conferences, not exceeding one convention or conference per year. Clear Pest Pros determines the times and locations for these events and may charge fees for attendance.
