Clear_Pest_Pros Franchise · 2025 FDDAnswer from 2025 FDD Document
Your business site, whether you operate from your commercial location, must be located within the Territory, and will be approved by us.
To approve your site, we will consider several factors, such as its size, condition, orientation within the Territory, its co-tenants, traffic patterns, and other details about the location (Section 1.D of the Franchise Agreement).
There is no time limit for us to approve sites, but it will not be unreasonably delayed.
Failure to select a site and open within the prescribed time period is a default of the franchise agreement, any may result in a termination of your franchise agreement.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Clear Pest Pros' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the franchisor must approve the franchisee's business site. Clear Pest Pros will consider factors such as the site's size, condition, orientation within the territory, co-tenants, and traffic patterns. The FDD states that there is no time limit for Clear Pest Pros to approve sites, but site approval will not be unreasonably delayed.
It is important to note that the franchisee's business site, whether a commercial location or home office, must be located within the designated territory. Failure to select a site and open the Clear Pest Pros business within the prescribed time period constitutes a default of the franchise agreement and may result in termination of the agreement.
While the FDD assures that site approval will not be unreasonably delayed, it does not define what constitutes an unreasonable delay. A prospective Clear Pest Pros franchisee should discuss the typical site approval timeline with the franchisor and current franchisees to gain a better understanding of the expected timeframe and potential factors that could cause delays.
