What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Clean Your Dirty Face's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, if the document was not delivered on time, contains false or misleading statements, or has material omissions, a violation of federal and state law may have occurred. In such cases, the violation should be reported to the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) in Washington, D.C., and to the appropriate state agency. Exhibit A of the FDD identifies the relevant state agency for each state.
For a prospective Clean Your Dirty Face franchisee, this means it's crucial to carefully review the FDD for any discrepancies or omissions. The FDD should be received at least 14 calendar days before signing any binding agreement or making any payment to Clean Your Dirty Face, unless state law requires an earlier deadline (10 business days in Michigan, or at the first personal meeting in Iowa). If there are issues, reporting them to the FTC and the relevant state agency is essential to protect your rights as a franchisee.
Exhibit A of the Clean Your Dirty Face FDD lists the names, addresses, and telephone numbers of the state agencies responsible for franchise disclosure and registration laws. It is important to note that Clean Your Dirty Face may not be registered to sell franchises in all of these states. Additionally, there may be states not listed in Exhibit A where Clean Your Dirty Face has appointed an agent for service of process, as well as additional agents appointed in some of the listed states.
