would negatively impact the goodwill of us or the "Clean Your Dirty Face" brand, or would constitute an act of moral turpitude.
8. SYSTEM STANDARDS.
8.A. COMPLIANCE WITH SYSTEM STANDARDS.
You acknowledge and agree that operating and maintaining your Business according to our System Standards is essential to preserve the goodwill of the Marks, and all business that operate using the Marks. Therefore, you agree at all times to operate and maintain your Business according to all of our System Standards, as we periodically modify and supplement them, even if you believe that a System Standard is not in the Franchise System's or your best interests. Although we retain the right to establish and periodically modify System Standards, you (or your Operating Partner) are solely responsible for the management and operation of your Business and for the cost of implementing and maintaining System Standards at your Business.
As examples, and without limitation, System Standards may regulate any one or more of the following, in addition to the items described in Sections 8.B through 8.I below:
- amounts and types of equipment and inventory you must purchase and/or (1) maintain;

Clean Your Dirty Face retains the right to establish and periodically modify these System Standards, which franchisees must adhere to in order to preserve the goodwill of the Marks.
System Standards may regulate staffing levels for the Clean Your Dirty Face business. These standards may also cover qualifications, training, dress, and appearance of employees and independent contractors. However, the franchisee retains sole responsibility and authority concerning hiring, promotion, hours worked, rates of pay and other benefits, work assigned, and working conditions.
While Clean Your Dirty Face can set standards for staffing levels, franchisees maintain control over employment decisions. Prospective franchisees should consider how Clean Your Dirty Face's System Standards might impact their operational costs and management responsibilities.
