Is the Skin Boss Training fee for Clean Your Dirty Face refundable?

According to Clean Your Dirty Face's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the Skin Boss Training fee is not refundable. Prior to commencing operations, the franchisee (or their Operating Partner) and all estheticians must attend a 3-day in-person Skin Boss Training program. The fee for this training is $750 per person, and Clean Your Dirty Face estimates that a franchisee will send between 5 to 10 trainees, including the Operating Partner. Therefore, the non-refundable Skin Boss Training fee will range from $3,750 to $7,500, payable in a lump sum before attending the training.

This non-refundable policy means that once the franchisee pays the Skin Boss Training fee, they cannot get a refund, regardless of whether they complete the training or open their Clean Your Dirty Face Facial Bar. Franchisees are also responsible for all travel and living expenses, including wages, transportation, food, lodging, and worker's compensation insurance, incurred by their trainees during the training.
