When is the Skin Boss Training fee for Clean Your Dirty Face payable?

According to Clean Your Dirty Face's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the Skin Boss Training fee is payable prior to attending the training. Specifically, the franchisee or their attendees must pay the Skin Boss Training fee, which is currently $750 per person, before attending the 3-day in-person Skin Boss Training program. This training is mandatory for the franchisee (or their Operating Partner) and all estheticians before commencing operations of the Clean Your Dirty Face Facial Bar. The training takes place at the corporate training center, which is currently located in Chicago, Illinois.

Clean Your Dirty Face estimates that a franchisee will send between 5 to 10 trainees, including the Operating Partner, for the Skin Boss Training program. Therefore, the estimated cost for this training ranges from $3,750 to $7,500, payable in a lump sum prior to attending the training. This fee is non-refundable. In addition to the training fee, the franchisee is responsible for covering all travel and living expenses incurred by the trainees during the training program. These expenses include wages, transportation, food, lodging, and workers' compensation insurance.

Clean Your Dirty Face may also require the Operating Partner and all estheticians to attend a Skin Boss Retraining program at least once every 12 months. The Skin Boss Retraining fee, like the initial training fee, is $750 per person and must be paid prior to attending the retraining. Franchisees should factor in these ongoing training costs when assessing the overall financial investment required to operate a Clean Your Dirty Face franchise.
