If you (or your Operating Partner), or managers and/or assistant managers required by us, fail to satisfactorily complete the Training Program then we may require such individual to attend additional training and we will charge you our then-current training fee forsuch additional training. Additional training will be provided at a time and location of our choice. If we determine that you (or your Operating Partner) or any manager and/or assistance manager required by us, is not properly trained to provide the services offered by your CYDF Facial Bar, we may require such person to cease providing services at your CYDF Facial Bar and/or to be trained by us at our thencurrent additional training fee (currently, $1,000 per 8-hour day, plus reimbursement of our actual costs and expenses).

We may, in our sole discretion, require your Operating Partner and all your estheticians to attend the Skin Boss Retraining program at least once in every 12 months. Prior to attending the Skin Boss Retraining you must pay us or cause your attendees to pay us our then-current Skin Boss Retraining fee, currently $750 per person.

The Training Program will occur after you sign the Franchise Agreement, but before your CYDF Facial Bar opens for business. We offer the Training Program on an as-needed basis.

You must pay all travel and living expenses (including, wages, transportation, food, lodging, and workers' compensation insurance) that you (or your Operating Partner) or any of your trainees incurs during any and all meetings and/or training courses and programs. You are also responsible for the travel and living expenses and out-of-pocket costs we incur in sending our trainer(s) to your CYDF Facial Bar to conduct training, including food, lodging and transportation. You understand and agree that any specific ongoing training or advice we provide does not create an obligation (whether by course of dealing or otherwise) to continue to provide such specific training or advice, all of which we may periodically discontinue and/or modify.

You are responsible for ensuring that all of your employees that have not attended the Training Program are adequately trained prior to providing any services at your CYDF Facial Bar. Additionally, all estheticians that offer services at your CYDF Facial Bar must be duly licensed by all applicable state, federal or municipal regulatory authorities, and must be sufficiently trained by us, prior to offering any services at your CYDF Facial Bar.

We may require you (or your Operating Partner), and/or certain other managers and employees of your CYDF Facial Bar to attend various training courses, trade shows, ongoing education or certification programs, and/or webinars at the times and locations designated by us. Besides attending these training courses, programs and events, we may additionally require you (or your Operating Partner) to attend a meeting of franchise owners at least once per year. These meetings will be held at locations we designate. However, any attendance at any additional training courses, programs or events, or any annual franchise owner meetings, will not be required for more than 5 days during a calendar year.

System Websites or related websites that promote

What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Clean Your Dirty Face's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, training is provided for managers of the CYDF Facial Bar. Clean Your Dirty Face specifies that if managers required by them do not satisfactorily complete the Training Program, they may be required to attend additional training, for which Clean Your Dirty Face will charge its then-current training fee. If Clean Your Dirty Face determines that a manager is not properly trained to provide the services offered at the CYDF Facial Bar, that person may be required to cease providing services and/or be trained by Clean Your Dirty Face, again at the then-current additional training fee. The current additional training fee is $1,000 per 8-hour day, plus reimbursement of actual costs and expenses.

Clean Your Dirty Face may also require the Operating Partner and all estheticians to attend the Skin Boss Retraining program at least once every 12 months, with a current fee of $750 per person. The Training Program occurs after signing the Franchise Agreement but before the CYDF Facial Bar opens. The franchisee is responsible for all travel and living expenses incurred during training for themselves, their Operating Partner, and their trainees. They are also responsible for the travel and living expenses incurred by Clean Your Dirty Face's trainers when they conduct training at the franchisee's location.

Clean Your Dirty Face also states that the franchisee is responsible for ensuring that all employees who have not attended the Training Program are adequately trained before providing any services at the CYDF Facial Bar. Additionally, all estheticians must be duly licensed and sufficiently trained by Clean Your Dirty Face before offering any services. Clean Your Dirty Face may require the franchisee (or their Operating Partner) and/or certain other managers and employees to attend various training courses, trade shows, ongoing education or certification programs, and/or webinars. Attendance at these events, including an annual franchise owner meeting, will not be required for more than 5 days during a calendar year.

Before commencing operations, the franchisee (or their Operating Partner) and all estheticians must attend the 3-day in-person Skin Boss Training program at Clean Your Dirty Face's corporate training center (currently in Chicago, Illinois), with a fee of $750 per person. At least one staff member must also complete the 2-day in-person Receptionist Training program, which is conducted at the corporate training center, without any fee. Clean Your Dirty Face may replace any portion of the in-person Training Program with virtual training and may vary the Training Program based on the experience and skill level of the individual(s) attending. The franchisee (or their Operating Partner) must satisfactorily complete the Training Program before opening or operating the CYDF Facial Bar.
