What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Clean Your Dirty Face's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, any notice sent to the franchisee is considered acceptable if sent to the address of the Premises. Additionally, if Clean Your Dirty Face sends a notice to the franchisee by electronic means, it is considered delivered if sent to the address of the Operating Partner listed on Exhibit A, or any other email address the Operating Partner has notified Clean Your Dirty Face of, and/or any branded email address Clean Your Dirty Face issues the Operating Partner that is associated with a Franchise System Website.
This means that Clean Your Dirty Face franchisees must ensure that their current principal business address and Operating Partner's contact information, including email, are up to date with the franchisor to receive important notices. The franchisee's physical location (Premises) is always considered an acceptable notification point, regardless of whether the franchisee has updated their contact information.
It is common practice in franchising for the franchise agreement to specify how notices are to be delivered. This clause ensures that both Clean Your Dirty Face and its franchisees have a clear understanding of how official communication will occur, which can prevent misunderstandings or disputes related to contractual obligations. Franchisees should pay close attention to these details to ensure they do not miss critical information from the franchisor.
